Guitar

I was just wondering who all on here (if anyone) plays the guitar. I am learning how to play on a acoustic electric guitar. (If you're thinking of playing a acoustic guitar, warning: it hurts! but always learn acoustic before electric.) I'm finding some things are hard to do though. Some being: bar chords (using your finger as a clamp.) and the 3rd riff. in the 12 Bar Blues. Any tips? And so far I know the: A chord, C chord, D chord, Am chord, Em chord and am learning the G chord.

First Acoustic, it's cheapest for me right now cuz my Aunt and Uncle have like, 3 of them. Then I plan to do Electric and Bass. I'm hoping if I learn Electric I can play it in our band hehe. (Church Youth band ^^)
